Membership enables you to participate in a range of activities offered by the Society. These include:
- Trips to both Thailand and overseas to study the arts and ancient locales as well as sites of natural beauty.
- Exhibitions of international standard of art and artefacts that relate to a wide area of the Society's objectives
- Cultural and musical performances of outstanding quality, classical and contemporary
- Lectures of noted experts on subjects reflecting The Society's objectives and its members interests
- Seminars that examine, through the research, presentations and publications of local and international specialists, areas that are of pertinent interest to the arts, culture and history of Thailand and the region
- Study and Research Projects in the arts, culture and natural history. Members can also pursue their own individual interests in these areas through the Society's facilities as well as through articles in The Society's two internationally recognized periodicals, the Journal of The Siam Society (JSS) and the Natural History Bulletin (NHB).
Life and Ordinary Members of The Siam Society enjoy the following membership benefits:
- Free admission to The Siam Society Lectures and Exhibitions
- Eligibility to participate on Society Study Trips
- Events newsletters featuring announcements of activities organised by the Society (mailed to addresses in Thailand)
- Special discounts or promotional offers for space rental, purchases of books, cards and other items
- Free admission to the Kamthieng House Museum
- Access to The Siam Society Library
- A complimentary copy of The Annual Report of The Siam Society
- A complimentary copy of the Journal of The Siam Society and the Natural History Bulletin of The Siam Society (upon request)
Student Membership
This is a special membership category that is available to students up to the undergraduate level. It extends most of the privileges of Ordinary Membership with the exception of the right to vote at annual meetings, or to receive the Journal of The Siam Society, the Natural History Bulletin, and announcements of Society activities. Student Members may use the library but will only be able borrow books from the library through inter-library loan. ie. students members are unable to borrow books directly from the library.

Corporate Memberships for business firms and other organisations are also available. Details are provided upon request. B50,000 annual fee. |
